Managing Your Operating Room inventory: Bringing It All Together - A FREE webinar sponsored by Cardinal Health
As leaders of one of the core areas within the hospital, perioperative services directors and managers are faced with continued challenges to drive standardization and workflow efficiency while having total visibility and control of products. Furthermore, they face significant pressure to reduce costs, increase revenue, and provide the best in patient care.
Imagine a unified platform that integrates OR inventory management with clinical record keeping that can manage a single area or across your entire IDN. The result is true visibility and control to easily manage your low-cost to high-value supplies to enable what you do best – provide patient care.
• Identify common issues and challenges related to OR inventory management.
• Discuss the use of inventory management and its impact on areas including increased visibility to product usage, charge capture, streamlined clinical workflows, and patient safety.
• Identify alternative, cost-effective ways to manage inventory through standardization of key areas such as physician preference items (PPI).
• Understand how a single inventory management platform can achieve optimal workflows and system connectivity through the use of RFID-enabled technology.
