Take just 30 minutes during your break to participate in this "power lunch" session where you' ll learn how to create a successful partnership with vendors for professional services. Regular price is $179 but you'll pay just $99 for this hard-hitting session and you'll leave with practical solutions on how to manage successful partnerships with your vendors.
In the past, vendors had full and unlimited access to the operating room. Over the past 5 years, this has changed significantly because of government regulations and facility policies that limit vendor access. While some of the limitation of access has been beneficial, it has also created challenges for facilities and vendors alike. With new equipment and technology being introduced into the OR on a daily basis, vendors can and do add value in supporting education of nurses and physicians. However, vendors also can and do present challenges as perioperative nurses strive to limit personnel in the OR to maintain patient confidentiality and reduce the risk of preventable surgical site infections. This program will provide specific strategies on how perioperative leaders and staff can develop a plan to optimize vendor access to the OR while maintaining an optimal environment for their patients.
In this special 30 minute luncheon webinar, you will learn how to:
- Discuss the benefits of having vendors present in the OR.
- Review the challenges and limitations of having vendors in the OR.
- Explore strategies to develop a “win-win” program for managing vendors in the OR.
